Biped animation - Motion capture -> Stopping footsteps affect position of biped
show user profile  avionz
Hi

I've mixed two bip files using the mixer mode. The first bip file does not have any footstep animation, just key framed arms/legs moving up and down etc. The second bip is a short animation of the biped getting up from a chair and has footsteps.

I extracted the footsteps again using motion capture but when I reposition the footsteps, the body moves with them. I just want the body to stay where it is. I have tried deactivating and reactivating the steps but the first part of the animation (1st bip) is deleted.

Anyone have any ideas on how to go about this?

screenies:

Original footstep position:

Desired footstep position (without the biped moving):

Thanks!
