I've never found a way to do it. There is a tick-box for moving alike handles, but I've never had it help.

There is no direct way that I know of.
If it's just for convenience when modeling, the following is probably not worth it. If you DO need it though, bear with me as it's a little complicated.

Unable to display content. Adobe Flash is required.

Editable objects have a general Master controller for their vertices and, with spline objects, for the Bezier handles. Specific controllers are automatically added for these sub-objects only when they are animated. So the idea is to trick max into doing so by moving them in Set Key mode, even if no key is actually added. Once the controllers are there, their tracks can be wired.

In the capture, I only wired the Y positions. If you also want the X positions, proceed as before but before hitting Connect to commit the wiring, change both entries from X to -X so that the values are mirrored.

I tell you what Garp, if you worked for Autodesk we'd have a product to die for. If you're able to do something that useful practical and sensible as a work-around, god only knows what you could do to the bloody programme given a couple of years full time recoding the thing.

Thanks, Mikes :)
I know this thing because I had some rigging to setup a while back and I kept bumping into limitations in max. This was the workaround and it stuck.

Anyway, the above solution isn't of any practical use when modeling. It takes too many steps and works only if the segment is aligned to one of the axes.
I'm trying to find a way that would be as close as possible to checking the Lock option. So far I've failed miserably but I'm not done yet. I still have a couple of ideas to explore. More later. Maybe.
