Best way to rig a mesh?
I have tried physique: It wouldn't even click the biped's COM when I tried to add node.
Skin: It always seems to come out distorted and I have to go thru and edit the envelopes which takes forever and it still is a little bit distorted.
Bones: I cant get them to be the same measurements as the other half. And then again the "Skin" problem. what is the best way to rig the character I am working on?
This is my model
EDIT: I know he doesn't have thumbs & that his jaw looks awkward... This is an earlier pic.

1 vote for skin and bones. you can mirro bones in the 'bone tools' dialogue so both side are the same. Both skin and bones take some getting used to but then so does everything.
