I'd probably agree.

Dark Knight is the most over rated film of all time.

Oh ye wait, I forgot about Wall-E. That was the best film of 2008.

Nah Wall-E was an average Pixar movie for me.

I vote Ironman. Tropic Thunder was probably the funniest movie of 2008 tho :)

I'd vote for Lesbian beach party III

I quite liked Hancock too because it is different.

Cloverfield was the worst movie I saw in 2008

Ironman was pretty average. Off the top of my head, "burn after reading" was a pretty awesome film in 2008.

I only watched Dark Knight the other day, good, not great at all though, took this piss with the 'technology' at the end.

Burn after reading! I've really not seen many though thinking about it

I liked Cloverfield thought it was a good movie..

IronMan probably, RDJnr played a great part in that.. Though some of the fx in i think the first flying sequence were a bit err, looked like the editors done them in Avid Effects, too much lens-flare not enough cow-bell. Everything else was top-notch.

Thought Hulk was a bit pants- was that a 2008 release? Why they got that cross-eyed little dweeb with no depth-of-character to play the part is beyond me, i thought the same thing about Spidercrap.

Lesbian Beach Party II really stood out for me, however. In terms of a contemporary socio/polital commentary i thought it was incisive, cutting and intelligent, and above all else had top-notch poonanny.

Just my 2 barrels of oil.

Wall-E was crap. Waltz with Bashir was shit too.

I actually saw very few movies this year...missed Iron Man, Run, Fat Boy, Run, Rambo, Be Kind Rewind, Burn After Reading, Tropic Thunder,W., Quantum of Solace, and many others, so, uh, my vote has to go to Dark Knight, with an embarassing second place to Kung Fu Panda (yes, I really thought that poorly of Wall-E). Oh, then again Cloverfield was kind of fun.

Maybe I'll go to the cinema a bit more this year.

[EDIT] Oh wait, on consideration, second place goes to Red Sands, a really great documentary short film about bullfighting I saw at a festival.

I thought they were all puh-retty poor to be honest. Can't blame them though, not when one has already witnessed the greatest film since the creation of... ermm, films.

Super Troopers!
