bent reflection
show user profile  zeefusion
I have seen some images where the reflection is distorted. in 3d, is this something that can be achieved via a material or is it due to camera settings or the surface not being flat?

I am not sure of a flat reflective surfaces can distort a reflection in real life?

These are photos of what I am trying to recreate I wondered if its because the glass is bent or theres some property to the glass that makes it this way. Then i want to create the effect in Max.

The glass is very slightly warped. Just use a bump/noise map to fake it.
