I need some quick help -
I have a complex system of attachments and links, all of which are made in order to move some light objects around.
I want to merge only the lights to a different scene.
Is there a quick way to "bake" their position so I don't need to merge the entire system ?

select your lights, go into the motion tab, trajectories, and you can collapse their transforms
edit - that doesnt seem to work with link or link constraint, tho 8 / ... your anims wont bake well it looks like
edit edit - but you might get away with using spline conversion, merging those new splines and your lights, then path constraining your light to which ever don't get their animations baked (disable constant velocity with a 1x1 bake)? i feel like there has to be a better way

I have about 400 moving objects in my scene... lol
All timed differently.
We might have found a way exporting them into After Effects and importing them back.
originally we wanted to have VRAY use object based lighting but the flickering was impossible :(
