Attach group or link??

I was wondering what the best solution is? attach, group or link?

I made a model with 20 diffrent parts separated. to make it workable I want to make it as one part.
what is the best option for this?
select one object and attach the hole list so it is one object.
keep al parts separated and make a group? or link al things together to one master.

Main reason I want to know this is; what is the best option for FPS and what is the best option for rendering?

Ungrouping can cause your file to be FUBAR'ed. I link.

Oke, thanks, And what is the reason for you to link instead of attach?
does it effects fps?

Attach is for more animate-able control. e.g. you can attach your a handle to something that's affected by something like a space warp. If you had tried to link it instead you would have broken your chain... assuming you're talking about select-and-link linking. There is, of course, a link constraint, which is key-able, and pretty useful for doing things like having a character pick up an object then throw it, or drop it.

I did some testing today, If using attach to one object in the modifier panel makes the FPS higher and render time seems to be the same, or just a little shorter.
compared with the same model that has link instead using attach.
Now I need to find out if this doenst give any artifacts in renderimages
