set up a vray camera in your scene, that allows one way to control the exposure

what the others said.

Anyway, with std max camera, set the sun intensity at 0.002 and tweak.

Cheers,

Work in progress: I tried the camera, but it took a very long time to render on my quad core. So just using standard perspective. I have lowered the sun intensity and renders much faster. I can now concentrate on the modelling the interior. Thanks for the help. Crits welcome.

well hey! great progress from first image :)

Very long time? You must have something screwed up with your settings (not sure what may be causing this). But this scene should take 30sec tops on a quad.. Post your settings..
