another one of those TV problems

Hey Guys.

This is another www.animationmentor.com assignment. I really wanted to test a rig I made with facial controls and I feel like I missed the opportunity to convey emotins with body lanquage and relied a bit too much on facials. But either way, let me know what you think.

(sorenson 3 - 2 megs)

or

(requires qt7 - h264 - 258 k)

Also this rig was made to be a free one. It's not quite finished but still pretty functional. Feel free to check it out and if you want, use it for animations. It's a max 7 file. http://www.3dluvr.com/clisk3d/freerigg/Max_v03.rar

This awesome rigger Mark Tsang. http://www.sitesled.com/members/marktsang/
is kind enough to help and is re-rigging him for max 6 to be accessible to more people and is making things faster, and even better.

looks good peter,
one thing bothers me though,
the way after he jumps up that he sits down crossing his legs, i feel that maybe he could sit first and then cross them - i think it just feels a little strange

great job though .. and thanks for the plug :D

REALLY awesome job. i have ONE comment. I think the antic at the end... from frames 270 (ish) to 290 (ish) could be pushed a LOT more. you have all this really great subtle action through most of it, and at the very end it feels like his reaction to the tv falling could be a lot bigger and a little longer........... i'd say push him up vertically another FOOT and hold frames 279-283 (or therabouts) for another 12 frames.

otherwise, that professional animation right there. if you dont have one, go get yourself an animation job! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Haha, great stuff. You're an excellent animator harmonic01.
One thing that bothers me a little though is his action towards the end (frame 270 onwards). He threw his remote at the tv stand cause he got so mad, but then he shrugs off his anger totally and very quickly.
And the fact that his tv stand (and his tv too?) is totally screwed didn't bother him nearly as much as not being able to turn up the volume.
