I would get the basic 1700 and the fastest ram you can find :)
Ram speeds seems to matter a lot from what i read. If your patient there's also coming more core versions 8,12 and 16.
No first hand experience tho :)

im thinking about building an amd rig with ryzen 7 when vega comes out, very very interested

about vega:



rumor has it that the new xbox is ahead of schedule and "going to change how games are played and developed"... my inner nerd likes to think it will have have something to do with amd's high bandwidth cache x) that would be pretty amaz-balls

So does the Vega effectively remove vram limitation for gpu rendering? Sounds amazing
