Animation Key frame question
show user profile  XF7

I'm new to animation and this may seem like a stupid question but how do you pause an object at a specific key frame? I have forty frames, I want to briefly pause my object on a key frame for 10 seconds. I have played around in the curve editor and dope sheet but I can't seem to get it to pause stationary. I might be missing something, could anyone help? (Sorry if this is really obvious).

What is this After Effects Digital?

@ XF7 : click on the keyframe you want the still animation to start at > hold shift and drag the new keyframe to the frame you want the still to end at ( this has to be before the next key that has been made

Unable to display content. Adobe Flash is required.
