animated sweep?

Maya has an animated sweep feature, why doesn't Max? I know in Max you can create an animated frame, but not a solid sweep... or can you?

Max does have animated sweep, it's called animated loft ;)

As FX said, Loft can be used to create some excelent animated sweep effects. Here's another tutorial, showing how to use it for "Light Cycle" Tron effects.
