adding horizontal segments to object
show user profile  illinois429
How do I add horizontal segments to this object? At this point, there are only vertical segments. So far I: made an elipse, made a scaled down copy, attached the two, added an extrude modifier.

Thank you for the advice.

^ that will help you more than being told.

However:

1) You can use multiple slice planes (not recommended)

2) The extrude modifier has a "segments" setting, I believe.

3) Convert to poly, use appropriate graphite or poly editing tools

4) Convert to e-poly, select side edges and hit the conect button
