Maxunderground news unavailable

3ds max file open too slow

I use 3ds max 2014.

When I open my scene, it takes 3 minutes.

I don't know why... plz help me guys.

I had a similar issue a while ago, in my case it was the procedual maps rendering to viewport that took all that time. You can lower the resolution in viewport configuration->display performance ->baked procedual maps setting.

if that doesn't work, it may be large amounts of retimers in your scene:
Retimers will slow down opening , saving, reloading files. Search online about these little suckers and the problems that they create.
