3ds max hair length problem in simulating..
i have my model's hair done in max using inbuilt hair engine.i used splines to increase my hair lengths and style it. but as i start simulating, the hair gets back to it's original lengths and starts calculating. any tips on this problem?

try this: tools (in the hair mod), then convert 'Hair -> Splines' ** BE CAUTIOUS ** this could either freeze your scene or really kill the performance (i.e. save first). Now run your simulation, then delete "line01" or w/e the spline hair gets renamed to, the hair mod should now be the proper length in the viewport and renderer
*edit* after you delete the Spline Hair that gets created after the convert, your performance will return to normal and you'll have proper length etc
