3D PDF?
show user profile  RedStar
Hey guys,
Looking into creating a 3D PDF. Right now deep exploration or visual enterprise is the software I have to use. However curious if anybody here has a better option/suggestion? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

What are your thoughts html wise?

The whole Idea is I want to send a .pdf to a client of their model and have steps/producers showing how to do maintenance on it etc so they can use it in class to teach their technicians.

you can create something like this
http://www.vi3d.com.au/32-orlando-street-hampton

its very easy using krpano
http://krpano.com/

I did a test the other day, i rendered 4 360 images and you drag them into the 'make pano vr' .bat file, it stitches them together and then u place arrows in the 3d space, and u can click around between ur panos that have been stitched together.

I suppose its good if you want to be INSIDE the model, however if its something to show your client like a turntable model, maybe that sketchfab - cos it ends up in html anyway.
