| 2d vectorworks, does anyone use it? how much is it used in the industry? |

I have a chance of a free course in 2D VectorWorks, I've never come across it before and wondered how much it was used in the commercial enviroment. Would it be useful to know? or would an autocad course be better?
thanks in advance for any answers

I worked at an architecture office for almost two years and in all that time, I only saw a VectorWorks file ONCE, from a client who would normally send us DWGs instead. AutoCAD is *BY FAR* much popular than VectorWorks, in fact, if it wasn't for that particular file, I wouldn't even have known about VectorWorks.
My two cent: if you want to get trained in CAD, you're way better off with an AutoCAD course. I personally wouldn't be interested in a VectorWorks course, but then again, if you have the time, you could give it a shot.
